ICT- TERM 3 Lately in ICT we’ve been focusing on SCRATCH. Scratch is a program that you can play around with and you careated two characters talking to eachother and having a conversation.n create characters to move/play/run/walk etc ... I didn't really enjoy scratch the first time I heard it because I knew that it would be hard for me to understand and work it. However, now that I understand how to work the program I enjoy it a lot. I created two characters talking/having a conversation. Its took me about 2 weeks to just make that because I don't really undestand how to work it. Date: 18/8/10Today in ICT we learnt a little about what a GPS is and what it can be used for. What I learnt today about a GPS is that it stands for GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM. After all that we played around with GOOGLE MAPS. On GOOGLE MAPS we had to find these landmarks that Mr Patino told us to do, like: BIG BEN, WHITE HOUSE, VATICAN, ARC DE TRIOMPHE, ULURU and so forth. For each of those places we had to try and find the longitude and latitude of each. When I finished doing all of those places I found some of the places I wanted to do like DISNEY LAND, MOVIE WORLD and SEA WORLD. I found this activity very fun ebcause I got to learn heaps that I didn't know before. Date: 25/8/10
